If your looking for more off season stuff I can not recommend Urinating Tree’s legacy of failure series enough. Particularly the one on the Panthers as it’s a bit old but does a great job in illustrating the history of the panthers and how in just a few years they turned from being the joke of the league to the absolute top. Also his video on the leafs which is absolutely hilarious. Edit: I hear your pint on McDavid getting MVP but first I’m not a Panthers fan but I was disappointed Alexander Barkov didn’t get it as he shut down McDavid when it mattered most, as well as shutting down superstars all post season. It’s also nearly unprecedented for a losing skater to win the Con Smythe and in my opinion he needed to do more than he did to earn it despite losing. Being from Houston, we, myself, always looked to see how the rest of the stars did. Jordan, Bird, Magic, Barkley, Clyde, wilkins, the list goes on and on. Those were the days! Hakeem was the ultimate, in my opinion.

The truth is McDavid is the last player's highlights a new fan of hockey should watch. If you see other players highlights and then see McDavid's you'll appreciate it that much more. You should start off with other superstars and then realize that nobody can come close to doing what McDavid can do.

I noticed you didn't like hearing that BS that Larry Bird wasn't athletic any more than I have. He had the same vertical as Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz, and he was known for his dunks. Larry WAS more athletic than the myth about his lack of this trait. I am older than Larry and have been pissed about his "lack" of athletic ability ever since. You noticed his jumping right off and know it's BS that he just "knew how to play, he couldn't jump over a stamp, couldn't outrun old women and the rest. Yes, Larry Bird did suffer from his success but back then athletes did not make the kind of money they do now. Remember just a decade or 2 before his time some athletes had to have a job during the off season to make ends meet. My top 3 players of all time are Michael Jordan, then in a tie for second Magic Johnson and Larry Bird because they drove each other's success and on the down low became best of friends until the night Larry Bird retired and Magic showed a lot of class.

The thing with red cards is, if a player gets one, not only is he out the match, he cannot be substituted, so their team has to play with one less player, and remember this could suck depending on what player it is, they could loose their best Stiker, someone that's a crucial defense in their team, or their Goalkeeper, but Goalies are an exception, becouse they're the only ones allowed to be subbed after getting a red card, for the price of having one of the outfield players go down from the field and have the reserve goalie go into the goal, if the reserve goalie gets a red card too, then there's two options, they can either have a 3rd goalie, wich is something that i don't think ever has happened but i might be wrong, or the more propable outcome, putting someone from the field onto the goal.
